This Operator position supports reliable hydroelectric facility performance through daily, monthly, and annual maintenance activities. You will investigate alarms, repair plant equipment, operate certain heavy equipment, and oversee specialized contractors. The position requires technical training, related experience, and bilingual communication.
Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance and repair work
Optimize hydroelectric power generation and performance
Respond to facility alarms while on duty
Operate certain heavy equipment safely
Oversee contractors during maintenance activities and projects
Requirements: Minimum five years in electrical or industrial maintenance
Electromechanics diploma or equivalent technical qualification
Knowledge of SCADA systems considered an asset
Physical condition suitable for facility duties
French and English spoken and written proficiency
