Deliver clinical pharmacy services through counselling, medication dispensing, and health care collaboration at Shoppers Drug Mart.
The Pharmacist oversees the dispensary while on duty and practices to the full extent of expanded scope within capability. Responsibilities span prescription accuracy, customer privacy, controlled-substance documentation, workflow management, and communication with health care professionals. This position also supports Pharmacy colleagues through planning, delegation, coaching, and action planning.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure prescription accuracy and appropriateness
Communicate with health care professionals for customer care
Manage controlled-substance documentation and reporting
Control dispensary access and protect confidentiality
File medication or privacy incident reports
Requirements: Strong problem-solving and action-planning skills
Ability to plan, coordinate, delegate, and coach
Proven ability to build the business
Solid personal computing skills
Complete required training and continuing education
Apply clinical judgement, regulatory knowledge, and pharmacy systems expertise while supporting safe, accurate patient care.
