This Personal Support Worker role centers on protected, attentive service for residents, including personal care and responses to physical, mental, or emotional changes. You will answer call bells, maintain records, report incidents, identify equipment or fire hazards, and support meals. Infection control remains part of the work.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care according to individual resident plans
Report incidents, accidents, and condition changes promptly
Order and store kitchen supplies as needed
Report equipment malfunctions, repairs, and fire hazards
Answer call bells and fulfill resident requests
Requirements: Community College certificate or equivalent experience
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
At least two years of experience preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability and keen interest in seniors
Combine resident care, accurate documentation, and responsive communication to support seniors while following delegated nursing instructions.
