Lead Medical Device Reprocessing operations in the Fredericton area with supervisory skills, sterilization expertise, and strong healthcare communication. This is permanent full-time work.
Reporting to the Manager of Medical Device Reprocessing, the Supervisor directs daily department operations and supervises Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians. The position supports hospital and region-wide supplies, equipment, and instrumentation while maintaining qualified standards. Experience with Operating Room instrumentation, case cart systems, and MDR standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise technicians and coordinate departmental workflow
Ensure decontamination, processing, sterilization, and storage meet standards
Maintain equipment schedules and liaise with maintenance departments
Coordinate staffing, schedules,



workload, and employee replacements
Provide reports, statistics, training, and quality documentation
Requirements: CSA certification in Medical Device Reprocessing
Minimum two years of Medical Device Reprocessing experience
Operating Room instrumentation and case cart systems expertise
Demonstrated supervisory skills and effective communication
Working knowledge of Meditech, ORSOS, Microsoft applications, and Kronos
Bring MDR supervision, sterilization standards, and critical thinking to Horizon’s Medical Device Reprocessing department in Fredericton.
