North American Construction Group is seeking a Site Trainer for operational competency training at Suncor Base. This position supports personnel, equipment mentors, and maintenance through required training, coaching, evaluations, and training records. The schedule is eight days on, six days off, with twelve-hour days; transportation from town and LOA are provided.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver practical and classroom training for site personnel
Complete equipment competency evaluations and production training
Assist maintenance with equipment training
Ensure equipment mentors follow company training standards
Use the LMS for records and reports
Requirements: Five years of mining operating experience
Large and small excavator operating experience
Crawler tractor, motor grader, and haul truck experience
Strong written, verbal, and public-speaking skills
Microsoft Office and training software knowledge
Support secure, consistent learning at Suncor Base with mining equipment expertise, mentoring ability, and organized training administration.
