Support child protection services in Timmins through preventative intervention, protective services, and robust communication skills. This is a twelve-month full-time contract position.
As a Protection Support Worker with NEOFACS, you will support the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team. The work serves individuals, children, and families, including children in Agency care and approved placements. Human services training, organization, and legislative interpretation are central requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide preventative intervention services to individuals, children, and families
Deliver protective intervention services through child protection programming
Support children receiving Agency child protection services




Provide services to children in approved placements
Work within the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team
Requirements: College Diploma in Human Services
Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
Minimum G2 licence, with access to own vehicle
Bring human services training, communication, and protective intervention skills to NEOFACS child welfare services in Timmins.
