Support children through creative programming at YMCA Parkcrest Care and Learning Centre in Kamloops, using ECE expertise and active supervision.
This permanent, full time Early Childhood Educator works Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts between 7:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will deliver quality care, lead age-appropriate activities, and build positive relationships with children and families. The position follows YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide quality care and creative programming directly to children
Design age-appropriate activities using YMCA Playing to Learn
Build meaningful relationships with children and families
Maintain safe, clean program areas and common spaces




Communicate daily updates through the Weemarkable parent app
Requirements: Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Emergency First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification within thirty days
Three satisfactory references required
Current Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector search
