Deliver batteries and serve Interstate Batteries dealers as a Route Service Manager, managing assigned routes, inventory, and customer relationships.
This independent role serves predetermined customers and dealers within a territory. You will maintain battery displays, manage account transactions, and support dealer retention through reliable service. Accuracy, communication, organization, and electronic inventory tools are central to daily work.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver batteries safely and on time to route dealers
Load and unload trucks while tracking company assets
Maintain clean, full, rotated displays under consignment agreements
Manage sales, warranties, rotations, collections, and invoicing
Collect used batteries and complete route paperwork
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification
At least one year of delivery and customer service experience
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Valid DOT medical card and required licensing endorsements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Apply route delivery, inventory accuracy, and customer service skills while representing Interstate Batteries with dealers.
