Lead commercial strategy for E.G. Penner Building Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba, using sales leadership and financial analysis to drive profitable growth.
As Vice President of Sales, you will join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to the President. You will guide sales performance across retail, contractor, commercial, agricultural, and industrial segments. Your mandate includes strategy, forecasting, pricing, customer retention, market expansion, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities: Develop long-term sales strategy aligned with growth and profitability objectives
Establish sales goals, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
Coach managers, develop leaders, and build succession plans
Identify markets, segments, categories, and revenue opportunities
Oversee pricing,



gross margin, and sales performance measurement
Requirements: 10+ years of progressive sales and commercial leadership experience
At least five years at a senior leadership level
Experience in building materials, construction supply, or related industries
Experience leading large teams through reporting managers or supervisors
Robust financial, analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
Bring strategic sales leadership, commercial discipline, and customer focus to E.G. Penner’s established building supply business.
