Support seniors at Woods Park Community and Retirement as a Personal Support Worker, providing daily living assistance and resident care. This is an unscheduled part time vacancy.
You will work with the Long Term Care team to understand residents’ experiences and build relationships with residents and families. The Personal Support Worker supports health and well-being through individual care, communication, mobility assistance, and resident programs. You will contribute to a home culture focused on helping residents live fully every day.
Key Responsibilities: Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to care plans
Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and sensory aids
Administer specific medication with prescribed training and supervision
Maintain access to canes, walkers,



and call bells
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support
Requirements: Completed approved Personal Support Worker program
Compassion for supporting seniors to live fully
Proficiency in straightforward treatment procedures and bedside care
Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
Bring compassionate bedside care, daily living assistance, and resident support skills to Woods Park’s Long Term Care team.
