The Truck Driver, Cement position involves operating straight or articulated trucks and lighter special-purpose trucks. You will transport goods and materials, handle dangerous goods, and coordinate information with central dispatch. The work includes loading, unloading, maintenance, inspections, and delivery records.
Key Responsibilities: Operate straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
Plan routes using GPS and navigation equipment
Inspect vehicles, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
Record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Requirements: Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience is an asset
Ability to transport and handle dangerous goods
Ability to perform brake adjustments
Ability to perform preventive maintenance
