Reporting to a designated services manager, the Server provides courteous meal service and maintains clean dining areas. The work supports person-centered care, resident preferences, independent feeding, and established safety standards. Food handling, communication, organization, and teamwork are central to daily service.
Key Responsibilities: Serve meals and beverages according to dietary restrictions and preferences
Take meal orders and answer menu questions
Set up, clean, and sanitize dining rooms and serveries
Provide tray services according to care or service plans




Report unsafe conditions, incidents, concerns, and maintenance issues
Requirements: Secure food handling and sanitation knowledge
Strong personal hygiene practices
Professional communication with residents, visitors, and team members
Ability to organize, prioritize, problem solve, and work cooperatively
Active Food Safe Certification and required checks
Bring courteous meal service, food safety knowledge, and resident-focused communication to Optima Living’s senior communities.
