This Radiation Therapist I position prepares, plans, and delivers ionizing radiation treatments prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Daily functions are supervised by a Radiation Therapist II, with reporting to the Provincial Leader or Site Manager of Radiation Therapy. The position requires accurate processes, computer proficiency, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities: Perform radiation therapy treatment planning processes
Conduct radiation therapy simulation processes
Deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments accurately
Interpret detailed treatment information
Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Requirements: Bachelor degree or diploma in Radiation Therapy
Basic Life Saver certification
CMRIPS licensure in Saskatchewan
CAMRT membership
Proficiency with computer systems and software applications
Bring treatment planning, simulation, computer proficiency, and precision to cancer care as a Radiation Therapist I.
