Gerdau seeks a Yard Operator for full-time work maintaining productive yard activities. You will operate loaders and material handlers, inspect scrap, and assist with material processing. The position includes equipment checks, inventory support, customer service, and daily safety activities. Previous heavy equipment experience is an asset, while interest in recycling operations is valued.
Key Responsibilities: Operate loaders, material handlers, and mobile equipment safely
Inspect scrap materials against quality and environmental standards
Load, unload, and process ferrous and non-ferrous materials




Complete equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks
Support inventory, customer service, and safety activities
Requirements: Previous heavy equipment operating experience is an asset
Interest in scrap grading and recycling operations
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Problem-solving skills and positive work ethic
High school education preferred
