Support individual safety and treatment needs as a full time Residential Support Worker with Dilico in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Experience in crisis management and trauma-informed care is valuable.
Reporting to the Alternative Care 4 Manager or designate, this Support Worker assists an individual with high support needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary, cross-sectorial support team. The position focuses on supervision, safety, treatment needs, and individualized support.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise an individual with high support needs
Ensure individual safety and treatment needs are met
Provide individual support and crisis management
Deliver trauma-informed care
Work within a multidisciplinary, cross-sectorial support team
Requirements: Certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant program
Experience in mental health or developmental services
Valid Class G driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate
Criminal Records Search with vulnerable sector check
