School District 72 seeks Feeding Future School Support for its meals program at Cortes Island School. Reporting to school and Feeding Futures administrators, you will prepare balanced menus, cook meals, and assemble breakfast and snack items. This temporary position runs from November 10, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare nutritionally balanced lunch menus using established practices
Cook and assemble meals, breakfasts, and snacks
Maintain inventory and place online replenishment orders
Receive deliveries and verify incoming goods
Maintain clean equipment, supplies, and stock rotation
Requirements: Six months’ experience working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills
Completed Food Protected certificate is an asset
Basic first aid knowledge is an asset
