This Staff Software Engineer will shape and scale the Orders Platform while remaining hands-on. You will model, replicate, synchronize, and reconcile order data across web, mobile, and point-of-sale environments. The work spans offline-first architecture, CRDTs, idempotency, and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities: Define Orders Platform data modeling, storage, replication, synchronization, and reconciliation
Build event-sourced systems resilient to partitions and partial failures
Strengthen offline-first restaurant and point-of-sale workflows
Lead architecture discussions, reviews, standards, and technical mentoring
Improve observability, replay,



recovery, and order-state investigation
Requirements: Extensive experience operating correctness-critical distributed systems
Hands-on event sourcing, CRDTs, or comparable replicated data approaches
Solid understanding of idempotency, concurrency, replay, projections, and reconciliation
Staff-level architectural leadership with active hands-on development
Strong backend engineering and communication skills
Apply distributed systems expertise, event sourcing, and backend engineering to strengthen reliable restaurant ordering infrastructure.
