As a Lead Hand, you will guide sorters and Package Handlers during the sort process. You will support warehouse supervision, coach associates, train new hires, and help maintain reliable workflow. The position covers safety compliance, shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities: Enforce secure working methods and Health & Safety protocols
Conduct safety audits, warehouse checks, and emergency responses
Lead truck unloading while maintaining team efficiency
Coach sorters, Package Handlers, and warehouse associates
Support sorting, scanning, processing, and workforce deployment
Requirements: Ability to enforce workplace safety standards
Ability to motivate and lead sorting teams
Ability to train and mentor new hires
Ability to respond to operational changes quickly
Ability to perform assigned warehouse tasks
