The YMCA of Greater Toronto seeks an educator to provide compassionate care and deliver its Place to Connect curriculum. You will make learning fun, respond to children’s needs, and support routines for six- to twelve-year-olds. The regular full time salaried position includes split shifts at 86%.
Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
Engage children through creative play and learning
Respond to toileting and diapering needs
Observe learning and complete required documentation
Follow provincial, municipal, and YMCA policies
Requirements: Early Childhood Educator diploma
Registration or registration-in-process with the College
Six months’ experience leading and engaging children
First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Flexibility for assigned hours and year-round outdoor work
Use your early childhood education, creative play, and caregiving experience to support children at the Georgetown YMCA.
