AltaGas seeks an experienced business-driven leader to shape Government Relations priorities for its Midstream business. You will align Commercial, Operations, Legal, Communications, Corporate Development, and Indigenous Relations around shared enterprise priorities. The role calls for credibility across jurisdictions, commercial curiosity, and confident stakeholder leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Strengthen Government Relations capabilities and long-term strategies
Understand business priorities and communicate AltaGas’ value proposition
Align leaders across functions and geographies




Maintain direct relationships with policymakers and industry associations
Support strategic decisions with explicit policy insights
Requirements: 10+ years of progressive Government Relations or public policy experience
Understanding of Canadian and U.S. political environments
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and leaders
Ownership mindset, confidence, and thoughtful decision-making
Political science, public policy, business degree preferred
Apply senior public policy leadership, cross-functional influence, and regulatory understanding to AltaGas’ Midstream business priorities.
