This Yard Operations Supervisor – Shunt & Tarp position oversees floor activities during a night-shift-only schedule. The scheduled start is 4:00 p.m., subject to operational requirements. Responsibilities include enforcing procedures, improving productivity, tracking equipment, and supporting a safety-focused workforce.
Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day yard operations on the floor
Drive productivity, efficiency, and operational target achievement
Enforce safety procedures and continuously improve protocols
Maintain professional customer communication on site
Hold teams accountable while coaching and inspiring employees
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant operational experience
Leadership or lead hand experience in yard operations
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Experience pulling super B trailers
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
