Build Modaxo’s enterprise AI platform remotely from Canada, Poland, or Germany using backend services, APIs, and distributed systems expertise.
As a Backend Engineer, you will create core services supporting Modaxo’s people transportation products. You will work with a small founding team on APIs, orchestration, access control, and integration. The work combines reusable platform capability with product delivery and customer-validated outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Design reliable backend APIs and orchestration services
Shape platform architecture and developer experience
Build multi-tenant infrastructure with isolation and metering
Own deployment, testing, operations, and on-call
Measure impact and automate quality gates
Requirements: Production experience with distributed backend services
End-to-end ownership of correctness, tests, and operations
Explicit communication with engineers, products, and customers
Pragmatic trade-off reasoning focused on outcomes
Strength in C#/.NET or Python preferred
Bring backend engineering, platform design, and operational ownership to Modaxo’s AI services supporting people transportation products.
