Combine technical leadership and business development at BBA as an I&C; department leader. Locations include Montreal, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec City, and Boisbriand.
You will manage the Instrumentation and Controls department while helping expand BBA’s advanced fuels and chemicals business. The scope spans automation, process control, hydrogen, biofuels, e-fuels, carbon capture, and industrial processes. Your responsibilities include team development, financial and operational performance, client relationships, strategic opportunities, proposals, and technical presentations. You will work with multidisciplinary professionals and internal business leaders to define scopes, schedules, resources, commercial approaches, and competitive execution strategies. Strong communication, stakeholder management, ethical judgment, and a commitment to health, safety, and sustainability are emphasized.
Key Responsibilities:



Ensure departmental operational and financial performance
Mentor teams and support succession planning
Develop positioning and capture strategies
Define proposal scopes, schedules, resources, and approaches
Maintain technical and commercial proposal quality
Requirements: Electrical engineering bachelor’s degree and OIQ membership
Relevant experience in engineering, chemicals, fuels, or controls
Five years managing people, teams, or projects
Robust engineering methods and office software knowledge
Intermediate English and advanced French proficiency
Lead BBA’s instrumentation and controls department with business judgment, technical rigor, mentoring, and client-focused communication.
