As a Senior Telecom Consulting Engineer, you will lead engineering design across multiple utility and substation infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities span concept development, detailed design, construction support, and commissioning support. You will make technical decisions, communicate with clients, and mentor engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as Professional of Record for assigned design packages
Coordinate internal disciplines, contractors, clients, and stakeholders
Review technical work and prepare estimates
Forecast resources and manage discipline quality




Champion safe-by-design principles in engineering decisions
Requirements: Eight-plus years of telecommunications or industrial networking experience
Professional Engineer registration in British Columbia, Alberta, or Canada
Solid consulting engineering process understanding
Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and relevant standards
Substantial experience in several listed technology areas
Bring utility communications, fibre optics, and IP networking depth to Qualus projects supporting reliable electrical grid operations.
