Calgary-based Lead Electrical Engineer needed for power design, engineering deliverables, and occasional travel with Novus Technical Services.
Novus Technical Services seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer for its Calgary Office. The full-time position supports Oil & Gas engineering services and reports to the Engineering Manager. Experience may include power plants, power studies, voltage design, substations, hazardous areas, and electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop block and architecture diagrams for engineering projects
Prepare single-line, wiring, termination, and layout diagrams
Complete design, load, and electrical assessment calculations
Prepare scopes of work and engineering work packages




Conduct site visits and field evaluations when required
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
At least eight years of electrical engineering design experience
Registered or eligible for APEGA Skilled Engineer registration
Effective English verbal and written communication skills
Eligibility to work in Canada and travel under ten percent
Lead electrical engineering design for Novus Technical Services through technical deliverables, calculations, field evaluations, and coordination.
