As a Senior Building Consultant, you will independently lead building and cost consulting assignments involving losses of $2 million and greater. You will assess commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-family properties affected by insured events. The work combines construction cost analysis, restoration knowledge, client advising, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Lead complex building and cost consulting assignments
Assess damage from fire, water, flood, and storms
Prepare and validate restoration scopes and construction estimates
Analyze contractor pricing, quotations,



invoices, and change orders
Prepare defensible reports, assessments, and recommendations
Requirements: 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience with large commercial property losses
Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies and costs
Robust estimating, quantity surveying, and cost analysis capabilities
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Bring independent judgment, Xactimate expertise, and commercial loss consulting experience to EllisDon’s complex construction assignments.
