We are currently looking for a Director of Real Estate to join our Ottawa team The Director ofReal Estatewillbe the face of Broccolini in theOttawabrokerage community and beyond. At the highest level, this roleis responsible forcreating and delivering value for Broccolini and its investors inthe Ottawa marketthrough disciplined acquisitions,timelydispositions, and strategic leasing. A central part of this role ismaintaining a strong presence in the brokerage community, building trusted relationships that ensure Broccolini is top-of-mind when opportunities arise. The Director will serve as a critical filter between the market and the internal development team, evaluating opportunities with speed and conviction before escalating only the most promising prospects. They will support senior leadership as a trusted contributor and drive business development across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Maintain deep, current knowledge of theOttawareal estate market Build andmaintaina strong network within the brokerage community, positioning Broccolini as a preferred buyer and partner Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, ensuring proactive and consistent communication that keeps deal flow coming to Broccolini Organize broker lunches, road shows, and other relationship-building events to strengthen Broccolini’s market presence Identifyand assess incoming opportunities quickly and rigorously,determiningwhat merits further analysis and what to pass on Apply strong market instincts to evaluate land and asset opportunities against Broccolini's investment criteria Maintain a structured pipeline and protect the development team's bandwidth for high-quality prospects only Acquisitions & Dispositions Source, underwrite, and execute land and real estate investment opportunities Divest investments that have realized their full potential for Broccolini Understand at a granular level the financial, construction, and municipal inputsrequiredfor project success Negotiate LOIs and PSAs in coordination with Legal and Finance teams Leasing Serve as the primary liaison with institutional partners on larger-scale renewals and vacancies, including attending monthly partner calls Provide market data, asking rents, and leasing activity inputs for accounting and partner reporting on a monthly,quarterlyand annual basis (depending on portfolio) Work in close collaboration with the Property Management team Coordinate with Marketing team on e-blasts, broker-facingcommunicationsand brand positioning within the brokerage community Support andadvisesenior leadership at a strategic real estate level Build a long-term strategic plan for Broccolini in theOttawamarket to drive sustained growth Contribute value-added feedback to the Real Estate Investment Committee and relevant leadership forums Minimum university degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, with a focus on acquisitions or development Established network within theOttawabrokerage and real estate investment community Knowledge of Ontario and City of Ottawa zoning, site plan, entitlement andpermittingprocesses Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Employee Assistance Program Skilled Training & Development Program An active social & wellness committee We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability status or veteran status.
