This Mechanical Fuels Engineer contributes to multidisciplinary project delivery for industrial, healthcare, commercial, and educational facilities. You will design diesel generator fuel systems, bulk tank farms, fueling stations, and aviation systems. The position combines detailed calculations, technical specifications, contractor reviews, and collaboration with intermediate and senior staff.
Key Responsibilities: Design diesel generator, tank farm, and dispensing systems
Develop aviation fueling designs using codes and reference materials
Write technical reports and recommend engineering solutions




Prepare bidding and construction specifications and documents
Mentor junior staff and review their design work
Requirements: Five years of consulting engineering experience in the buildings industry
Mechanical, chemical, or process engineering bachelor’s degree
Canadian P.Eng. license and solid English communication skills
Knowledge of national and provincial building codes
Knowledge of CSA B139, CSA B836, or CEPA considered an asset
Use fuel system design, calculations, and documentation skills to deliver Stantec projects from conceptual planning through construction.
