Blackline Civil is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator for its Alberta-based heavy civil contracting team. The work covers earthworks, underground utilities, industrial site development, and municipal infrastructure. You will support project success through detailed estimating, bid collaboration, and risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Price labour, equipment, and construction materials accurately
Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identify risks, opportunities,



and value engineering options
Requirements: Five or more years of civil estimating experience
Experience with underground utilities, earthworks, and land development
Understanding of civil construction methods and sequencing
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Apply civil estimating expertise, detailed quantity take-offs, and pricing skills to support Blackline Civil bids across Western Canada.
