Design satellite digital payloads remotely with FPGA, RTL, and SystemVerilog expertise at Aversan Inc. supporting safety-critical aerospace systems.
As a FPGA Design Engineer, you will develop custom IP, improve DSP and interface designs, and integrate third-party IP cores. The work supports next-generation satellite systems, digital payloads, communications, and constellation network architecture. You will contribute throughout the FPGA design lifecycle, from simulation through hardware testing.
Key Responsibilities: Develop custom IP for satellite digital payload features
Improve DSP and interface designs for reliability
Integrate third-party IP cores into FPGA designs
Support satellite communications and network architecture
Complete simulation, synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and testing
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering
Hands-on FPGA and RTL design experience
Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL programming experience
Experience with Xilinx Zynq and UltraScale FPGAs
Python, Linux, Vivado, Quartus, or ModelSim experience
