Modern Niagara is seeking a BIM coordination leader skilled in Revit Fabrication Parts and Navisworks. Work in Ottawa as the primary VDC contact for assigned projects.
This VDC Project Lead ensures coordination models meet customer and stakeholder requirements. You will consolidate content, manage communication streams, and maintain accurate project records. The work supports collaboration between design and construction teams through disciplined VDC processes.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure projects meet customer VDC requirements
Manage coordination files and document storage platforms
Maintain approved shop drawing and QA/QC records
Add model family metadata per project specifications
Verify dimensions to maximize site productivity
Requirements: Mechanical trades and construction experience of five years minimum
Navisworks and Revit Fabrication Parts proficiency
Understanding of construction processes, codes, and budgets
Advanced technical ability interpreting drawings and documentation
Capacity to manage tight timelines and competing priorities
Apply VDC coordination, documentation, and technical leadership skills to Contemporary Niagara’s Ottawa project delivery work.
