Norland seeks an Estimator based in Victoria or Nanaimo to support strategic planning from project pursuit through handover. You will prepare costs, proposals, and schedules while collaborating with operations and project managers. Copcan Civil delivers civil contracting, construction management, environmental contracting, forestry, demolition, and aggregate sales across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate estimates for prospective civil construction work
Write proposals for RFP and tender opportunities
Prepare project schedules for submissions and planning




Attend estimating team meetings and project discussions
Explain bid plans to project managers during handovers
Requirements: More than three years of civil estimating experience
Strong communication and organizational skills with multitasking ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project experience
Flexibility for extended hours and valid BC driver’s license
Use your construction bidding, scheduling, and communication strengths to support Copcan Civil projects throughout South Vancouver Island.
