Build strategic advisor relationships for PPI Management Inc. across Eastern Ontario and Gatineau, supporting insurance production, practice management, and sales. The role serves independent advisors.
As Director, Business Development, you will foster reliance and partnership by understanding advisors’ knowledge, objectives, and business priorities. You will support succession, marketing, prospecting, compliance, and practice management while coordinating internal resources. The role requires collaboration with PPI’s DAS, Investments, Wholesalers, High Net Worth, Wealth, and Strategic Relationships teams. You will also promote PPI’s value proposition through industry events and provide advisor education and training.
Key Responsibilities: Increase production among primary aligned advisors




Record advisor interactions in Activity Trackers
Update recruitment records and advisor information
Maintain compliance through documentation and training
Foster internal and external PPI relationships
Requirements: Life licensed with CFP or CLU designation
Eight or more years of industry experience
Family and business insurance product knowledge
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
Flexibility to respond quickly to advisor needs
Apply advisor relationship management, insurance knowledge, and practice support skills to advance PPI’s regional business development plan.
