L3Harris seeks a Senior Specialist Embedded Software Developer with extensive Embedded Linux experience. You will develop Yocto layers, recipes, images, root filesystems, Docker images, and custom board support packages. The work supports complex electro-optical surveillance systems and recent hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain Yocto layers, recipes, images, and root filesystems
Lead board bring-up with bootloaders, kernels, device trees, and drivers
Develop Docker images for deployment and system integration
Support manufacturing and customers by troubleshooting software issues




Document development, integration, and sustainment activities
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and six years of relevant experience
Graduate degree and four years of related experience
Ten years of related experience without a degree
Strong Embedded Linux, shell scripting, and development tooling knowledge
Experience with Yocto, OpenEmbedded, systemd, ext4, and overlayfs
