Current Gold seeks a Red Seal Electrician for its underground gold and copper operation. You will maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot automation, and support equipment installations across the mine site. The position reports to the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor and requires industrial experience.
Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain control systems across mining areas
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, radios, and motor controls
Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance
Support operations with daily field requirements
Document work orders, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician Certification
Three to five years of industrial experience
Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation
Experience with DCS and process instrumentation troubleshooting
Proven safety record and effective communication skills
