Install and program security systems as a full-time Security Project Specialist with Convergint in Toronto, ON. Support wide-ranging capital projects while delivering customer training.
This Security Project Specialist position supports small to large projects with differing complexity, timelines, and budgets. You will install, program, test, repair, service, and start up systems. The work includes technical support, certification, customer training, project coordination, and ongoing service. Systems may include electronic security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation.
Key Responsibilities: Install, program, test, repair, and service assigned systems
Complete start-up, checkout, certification testing, and customer training
Provide technical support and maximize customer satisfaction




Identify project risks and help control costs and deadlines
Mentor less-experienced staff using technical knowledge
Requirements: Minimum five years of previous field service experience
Solid programming, troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical skills
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams
Valid driver’s license and frequent jobsite visits
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
