Apply mechanical engineering expertise to SABRE mining at Orano’s McClean Lake Operations, with budgeting, project delivery, and production support.
Reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer, this Mechanical Engineer supports McClean Lake Mining through engineered designs and projects. The position combines mine engineering, project delivery, forecasting, and management of change. You will work with consulting engineers while addressing short and long-term production challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with operating and capital budgets, forecasting, execution, and reporting
Recommend and implement department engineering processes and procedures
Support safe achievement of production targets and challenge resolution
Guide consulting engineers developing and executing engineered designs




Manage project costs, schedules, quality, tracking, and performance reporting
Requirements: University engineering degree; mining specialization preferred
Registered or eligible for Saskatchewan Qualified Engineer registration with APEGS
Three to five-plus years of mine engineering experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Planning, organization, teamwork, and independent work abilities
Bring mine engineering, project delivery, and SABRE implementation skills to Orano’s McClean Lake operation in Northern Saskatchewan.
