Support propane and butane processing at AltaGas REEF Terminal in Prince Rupert, coordinating field and control room operations.
As a Panel Control Operator, you will help move REEF from commissioning and startup through ready-for-operations activities. After startup, you will operate DeltaV DCS controls for railcar receipt, chilling, LPG storage, and VLGC vessel loading. This full-time, non-camp-based position rotates seven days on and seven days off between day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Manage propane and butane flows through chilling processes
Support LPG storage and VLGC vessel loading operations
Liaise with external stakeholders and operational teams
Use UHF and VHF radios proficiently
Maintain facility housekeeping and equipment standards
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required
Fourth Class Power Engineering certification required
DeltaV or comparable control system experience preferred
Previous facility startup and commissioning experience
Solid time management and decision-making abilities
Apply gas terminal operations experience, DeltaV knowledge, and sound judgment across AltaGas REEF’s field and control room.
