As Senior Legal Counsel, you will advise business units on strategic legal matters in a complex technology environment. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while balancing legal requirements, business values, risk tolerance, and enterprise strategy. The work includes technology contracting, outsourcing, and third-party risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal advice on key business portfolios
Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts
Advise on contract operations in multi-vendor environments
Identify and resolve associated legal issues proactively




Mentor junior lawyers and develop legal precedents
Requirements: Law degree and Ontario Law Society membership
At least eight years of post-call legal experience
Experience in corporate legal departments and law firms
Eligibility to work full time for Interac in Canada
Privacy, cybersecurity, CASL, or financial services knowledge preferred
