As Procurement Lead, you report to the Strategic Supply Manager and lead procurement for safety and non-safety systems. Your responsibilities span sourcing strategy, supplier qualification, contract administration, cost recovery, and supply chain risk. Technical experience supports purchasing for remote fuel handling and specialized tooling.
Key Responsibilities: Create sourcing strategies based on capability, cost, quality, and risk
Identify, qualify, develop, and monitor strategic suppliers
Lead cross-functional negotiations and establish long-term agreements
Improve supplier quality, performance, schedules,



and cost recovery
Partner with Engineering, Legal, Manufacturing, and Project Management
Requirements: Ten years of procurement leadership experience
Five years of nuclear industry experience
Engineering or technology degree, or related technical experience
Knowledge of nuclear standards, codes, and quality systems
Risk management, quality tools, and communication capabilities
Use sourcing strategy, contract leadership, and supplier performance expertise to strengthen BWXT NEC’s nuclear supply chain.
