The successful candidate will manage complex, high-visibility projects within a portfolio exceeding $130M in 2026, overseeing initiatives in data modernization, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead large, complex banking projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
Manage project scopes, schedules, resources, and budgets, including forecast updates and financial risk mitigation
Communicate effectively with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams
Oversee vendor engagement, coordinating deliverables and ensuring contractual commitments are met
Understand and challenge technical architectures, infrastructure, and integration points
Drive project delivery in hybrid, Agile, and traditional models, adapting as project needs evolve
Manage data modernization initiatives involving pipelines, source systems, and enterprise data platforms
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in Canadian banking regulations
Foster collaboration across teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
Desired Skill-Set Extensive experience managing large, high-profile banking projects




Proven financial management skills, owning project budgets from $300K to $40M
Strong stakeholder management, with ability to engage and influence at all levels
Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for business audiences
Deep understanding of SDLC, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologies
Knowledge of data architecture including ingestion, pipelines, and enterprise data management
Ability to manage ambiguity and changing project priorities effectively
Vendor management experience within complex enterprise environments
Experience with regulatory initiatives specific to Canadian banking is an asset
Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalents are beneficial but not mandatory
Nice to Have Prior banking environment experience
Wealth Management or Capital Markets project delivery background
Exposure to AI and data-driven projects
Familiarity with Clarity or other project management tools
Experience working with vendors like Salesforce or Broadridge
