This senior or staff backend role guides technical direction while delivering complex features end-to-end. You will work with Product, Design, and Data or ML teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions. The position emphasizes data modeling, business logic, APIs, and reliable system integration.
Key Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into scalable backend solutions
Integrate data, ML, and AI into product workflows
Build services supporting automation, recommendations, and insights
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for operational visibility
Contribute to technical direction across product areas
Requirements: 10 or more years of software engineering experience
Experience building production SaaS backend systems
Experience with REST, GraphQL, or gRPC services
Backend language experience with Node.js, Java, Go, or similar
Python and data tooling experience is preferred
Use backend engineering, data modeling, and ML or AI integration experience to guide Kaseya product development.
