At the First Nations Financial Management Board, this contract Senior Financial Officer supports FMS Support Services delivery. The work combines client accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and staff mentorship. You will help build client capacity and strengthen financial management practices.
Key Responsibilities: Support planning and delivery of FMS Support Services
Mentor staff and deliver financial training initiatives
Support clients with back-office accounting functions
Assess controls and recommend improved processes
Prepare statements and reports under FMS Standards
Requirements: CPA designation and relevant business-related degree
Minimum seven years progressive accounting and finance experience
Knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Sage 300 experience
Robust English communication and leadership skills
