Lead Real World Evidence programming with SQL, SAS, or R while supporting Epidemiology teams across observational research studies. Partner with stakeholders on complex analyses.
As a Principal Statistical Programmer, you will prepare Real World data and advise on analytic strategies for epidemiology activities. You will create algorithms, link datasets, and conduct statistical analyses under epidemiologist and statistician direction. The work supports Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety and Risk Management, and Clinical Development.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources
Obtain relevant extracts from data vendors
Create analytical databases for study analyses
Conduct analyses and produce tables and figures
Present results and assist with study deliverables
Requirements: Master’s degree or PhD in a related field
Five plus years conducting RWE analytics
Intermediate to expert SQL proficiency
SAS or R proficiency required
Experience with Optum, Truveta, or UK Biobank
Apply statistical programming, RWE analytics, and stakeholder communication to support Cytel Inc. epidemiology research and reporting.
