As a Software Engineer I on Affirm’s Upfunnel team, you will build pre-checkout experiences across affirm.js, promotional messaging, experimentation, and developer-facing tooling. You will contribute to accessible, performant, and scalable frontend solutions that clarify Affirm’s value on merchant sites. Collaboration, curiosity, and proactive communication support the work.
Key Responsibilities: Build high-traffic frontend experiences across affirm.js and promotional messaging
Develop experimentation and developer-facing frontend tooling
Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders on risks and trade-offs




Balance delivery speed, quality, and protection against downtime
Use debugging, monitoring, metrics, and testing tools
Requirements: Software Engineer I experience or equivalent frontend engineering capability
Ability to build reliable, scalable frontend experiences
