Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance and Operations, this Assistant Manager oversees Facilities Operations, Security Services, caretaking staffing, and labour relations. The position supports system-wide custodial operations, budgeting, staffing allocation, and continuous improvement across OCSB facilities. It also guides Coordinators, Supervisors, and Assistant Supervisors while participating in committees concerning staff, student safety, and labour relations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage expenditures within assigned Operations and security budgets
Lead and supervise Planning and Facilities staff
Oversee custodial operations, budgeting,



and staffing allocation
Administer security systems, devices, policies, and standards
Participate in collective agreement, grievance, and arbitration processes
Requirements: Diploma or degree in a related field
Facilities Management certification
Five to seven years of progressive related experience
Three to five years of leadership or supervisory experience
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
Bring facilities leadership, security oversight, budgeting, and labour relations experience to support Ottawa Catholic School Board operations.
