Lead materials management operations across Prairie Mountain Health, applying purchasing and inventory management expertise during day shifts. The position is full time at 1.00 FTE.
Reporting to the Regional Manager Supply Chain Management, the Area Manager oversees the Materials Management department. The work combines management, computerized inventory control, policy development, and employee and labour relations. Experience in health-care management is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Materials Management throughout Prairie Mountain Health safely
Monitor financial, human resources, equipment, and environmental issues
Oversee Materials Management policies and procedures
Support sustainable program planning and development




Coordinate clinical supply distribution with nursing units
Requirements: Relevant post-secondary education and supply chain certification
Two years’ Materials Management experience in purchasing and inventory
Three years’ management experience, preferably in health care
Manitoba Class 5 licence and personal vehicle access
Leadership, communication, and computerized inventory control knowledge
Apply materials management leadership, purchasing expertise, and inventory control knowledge across Prairie Mountain Health’s regional services.
