This Lead Mechanical Engineer position requires experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services. You will support decarbonization, deep retrofit, and high energy efficiency projects while accompanying clients through design. The work spans planning, design, construction, and project team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain client relationships and prepare proposal submissions
Design or supervise institutional, commercial, industrial, and transportation buildings
Manage projects from concept through construction completion
Mentor engineering staff and review technical work




Prepare reports, specifications, and quality documentation
Requirements: Recognized mechanical engineering degree and P. Eng. licence with PEO
Minimum 10 years’ related mechanical buildings engineering experience
Knowledge of Canadian codes, standards, automation, and DDC controls
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, and HVAC software
Valid driver’s licence and transportation access
Bring mechanical design leadership, energy efficiency expertise, and robust client relationships to CIMA+ buildings projects in Ontario.
