Manufacturing process optimization leads this Process Manager role at IPEX’s Scarborough, Ontario plant, with responsibility for safe, efficient operations. Analyze production data and improve performance across manufacturing processes.
The Process Manager reports to the Plant Manager and focuses on productivity, safety, cost effectiveness, and plant goals. You will evaluate procedures, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with Manufacturing Excellence, Set-Up, Maintenance, and Production Managers. The role also supports operational excellence through metrics, process development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Promote safe work practices and environmental, health, safety compliance
Lead 5S, workplace organization, and visual management initiatives
Analyze cycle times, downtime, scrap, and operating performance




Implement sustainable process improvements and corrective actions
Manage equipment, tooling, resources, and manufacturing processes
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum three years’ progressive manufacturing leadership experience
Experience implementing measurable process improvements
Understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership capabilities
Apply engineering, process improvement, and manufacturing leadership expertise to advance secure, productive operations at IPEX’s Scarborough plant.
