Position Overview

Copper City Liquor Store is currently seeking a Casual Sales Associate to provide an exceptional customer experience in a welcoming retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, learning about a wide range of products, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service
- Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Maintain accurate cash handling, including balancing floats and counting tills
- Stock shelves and displays while keeping merchandise clean and organized
- Create attractive and engaging product displays
- Identify opportunities to promote products and increase sales
- Clean and maintain the store and equipment
- Assist with receiving and storing inventory
- Contribute to a respectful, enjoyable, and team focused work environment




- Complete other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

- Willingness to learn about a wide variety of local and international products
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and move throughout the duration of each shift
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid Serving It Right certification required
